She's gonna have puppies!

Hiya all it’s been a very fast start to the year! BIG NEWS – Chowwow, my cute wee jack russell is having puppies (in the next week or so!), and thank god we’ve got flat mates for the first time ever! Chowwow got hitched up with Mum’s Pomeranian on Xmas day, during the festive dinner (much to our dismay and shock horror). Since then her belly has swelled up incredibly! What’s become of our scrawny, but adorable puppy is now much heavier, and needy too! It’s actually a rather exciting thing, even though we really should have bought our new lounge suite later in the year…!

Flatmates, yes I always thought I’d be the perfect flatmate since I’m so considerate, tidy, (yawn*) etc but unfortunately my little perfectionisms have projected onto others! It’s a big learning curve, and getting used to sharing a space requires a LOT of self-respect and communication. I’m liking the fact our house is much more lively and there’s more food in our cupboards! Not that I’m eating other people’s food, but it must be an ‘Asian thing’, to have abundant cupboards in the kitchen makes me feel some what safer and ‘at home’. Anyway I’m really blabbering now so I’ll stop.

What else is new?... mm I am very jealous that Mat went to Webstock last week, it looks like he had a blast coming back with a flash satchel and memorabilia tee. On the work front I’ve become a lot more aware of how I’m cutting my websites so that my markup is clean and validating too. I’m still just actively looking at what I need to learn for the project at hand – rather than collate a whole lot of information for study purposes. And I am still not yet convinced I like designing in Flash, mostly because I like working efficiently and Flash animations take forever to look good. So there’s room for improvement there, no doubt.
