WOW

I have never seen such an amazing show! My first time in artsy Nelson was the most inspiring experience! Despite the horrible car journey (I suffered from Friday night hangover, not to mention severe car sickness) my breath was momentarily taken away from start to finish by the World of Wearable Art’s show. The dancers and performers captivated the audience’s attention as they illustrated the costume design themes with their movement. I suddenly wished I was part of that same creative flair. I longed to sweat the hard work and see such stunning outcomes produced by tonight’s designers. It reminded me very much of my student life at art and design polytechnic, the long creative hours of self-expression and emotive sketches.
