learning to love

Hi All. Please excuse my absence for the last few months. I have experienced great things in the past 3 months than I ever thought possible in my entire life thus far. In the realm of my career, design projects has flowed and swayed, through motions of me developing intensive design strategies in the hopes that I would have significant pieces to add to my portfolio. Me thinks I have succeeded – actually, I FEEL that success! I made a conscious to decision to choose which project to channel effort into, and those projects resulted in highly praised pieces of artwork from clients.

The past 3 months of SevenZest journal-abstinance was honestly due to a good excuse – ‘self-discovery’. In contrary to people who think that this exercise belongs to 28yr old or middle-aged ‘losers’ are completetly misinformed – I am only 23. Yet with a lifetime of carrying stress and feeling unworthy of success and feeling only emptiness with my career/personal life, I was willing to face up to my past and to fulfill my dreams of being content with life.

With the help of a excellent lifecoach Jackie, my journey of healing the past, learning to love and the ability to feel the joy of being around my precious partner has really made the past few months a highly blessed one. Without being too cheesy (probably a lil too late for that I know!), I now CHOOSE to feel good, and KNOW that if anything goes wrong with my personal world, it all comes back to how I feel inside. On days I feel really positive, you’ll find an array of pretty forms and a smooth balance to the design project I am working on. Likewise to my lovelife, being with Mat is not just nice – it’s joyous and fun, and I feel like I have fallen in love for the first time again…
