Flying solo - welcome to the world of freelance

This week is my official week of freelance full time! Actually my last week at Istyle was cut short and I left on Monday, not knowing how much work I really had on my plate of the rest of the week. And it probably the best timing really, I had so much to do, and seemed like I’ve been doing this forever. The best thing is that it didn’t require much adjustment, and I lavished in thought that I didn’t have ‘work’ in the morning when chilling out in the evening. Well now I am working harder than ever, and it feels completely natural to me.

I think I’ve really found my niche too, working for other companies with over-flow of work, or wishing to build their portfolios up. I’m still interested in doing more arty things like making a hand-made book and painting again, and hopefully this new found freedom will give me lots of mental space to do those things.

Chowwow gave birth to 6 incredibly cute Jackeranians nearly 2 months ago, this weekend they’ll be officially allowed to go to their new homes! Bless their cuteness, and may they be toilet trained very soon :)
