Digging the grounds for Sevenzest

I’m playing with my logo again, but this time instead of manipulating vector shapes in Freehand I decide to make my concepts a little more flexible with Photoshop. I use a very bold and curvy font I downloaded called Cream Puff by Nick Curtis www.nicksfonts.com, and it’s absolutely typolicious! Zesty colours such as greens, lemon, aqua, purple, and deep salmon are on my colour palette, but I might tone it down later so it doesn’t look like a kindergarten logo! I finally get somewhere when I use 7 and e s t: the seven stands for both z and 7. Bingo! I go out in my garden and do some severe soil beatings with our weed fork and come back with fresh eyes.
