A design revelation

I must have trained my subconscious particularly respectful to my conscious self. It even does design work – during my sleep. This morning I woke of several occasions where I had been dreaming of designing for several deadlines that I have for this coming week. I wondered why, as I woke up thanking my dream that I had done half my research already ( speaking to my clients in my dream is probably not that valid to my project) , and had some ideas on what exactly I needed to do for the forthcoming fashion swing tag I needed to produce for Glassons by Wednesday this week. Distinctively, as I recall in my dream, there was a piece of refill right in front of me and a huge white meeting room and my thoughts were to brainstorm the word “value.” In the real-life meeting with Anna the Visual Merchandise manager I was briefed specifically to increase the value in the garment as represented by the swing tag. So, maybe my dream didn’t give a visual design for a solution, but it definitely defined what I needed to think about. Now what I really need is remember what I wrote down in my dream beneath that brainstorm topic…
